Another good test to try is to put pressure on the dogs gums for 4 seconds. There will be a white spot where your finger was. If it goes away in a couple seconds, thats good. Not so good if it takes longer than 5 seconds.

Hey…. i was just lookin up Kennel Cough.. and found yer lil story… did you get any info on yer dog? …. is he/she okay? …. we went to the vet today…. he’s been coughin all night and morning… hacking… foaming….
